ISM is a high school elective course in which students pursue a mentorship with a professional in the career field of their choosing. Throughout the course of the year, students learn professionalism, communication and networking, interview skills, public speaking, and other qualities necessary in becoming a trained professional. Students in ISM work towards creating an original product, and maintain a professional relationship with their mentor. The goal of ISM is to help students gain real-world experience in their chosen topic, and help them become professionals in their field.
